1) What do you think are the advantages of this blog project?
- The advantages of this blog project is to enhance our English skills as we made our respective blogs using english language on how we think and correct our grammar. Another also is to know how far do we know about the issues in the society and global as we type and discuss it furtherlly in our blogs.

2) What do you thnk are the disadvantages of this blog project?
- The disadvantages of this blog project is about the some topics that we dont know on how can we discuss it in our on. Like the social and global topic we cant discuss it in our own we can search on it for guide or sometimes they also just copy and paste what they have search from the internet.

3) What are your reactions toward your peer comments on your blog posts?
- I am happy on my peer comments in my blogs especially about my personal because they are also proud on what i accomplised in my past. Im also happy because they said that i am awesome as they read my blogs. So i am completely impressed on their comments because its all positive and no negative comments so far.

4) What challenges did you encountered in this blog project?
- The challenges i encountered in this blog project is Mental Block most in the society and global topic that is i need to search something on what i am going to put in the blog. For the good thing i finish it by getting some guide from the internet but i didnt copy what is post i made my post on my own and finish my blog.

5) What is your over-all comment about this blog project?
- My over-all comment in this blog project is amazing because i thought doing this is boring but i realized it was pretty interesting and incredible. Because not only i enhance my English skills but i can share about my personal and my goals, also i know and i can furtherlly say what is about the issue all about the society and global.

    One of the Major Global Issues surrounds us is Pollution, do you know that one of the reason why our country has suffered from pollution is because of the vehiches. Its one of the major signs of air pollution because smoke from vehicles are dangerous. It almost came from jeepneys, tricycles, buses and even the trucks. Even in the gasoline station the smell of the gasoline is too bad for us because it has many toxic that may harm our health. Smoking is also dangerous for us because it weakens our organs most of all our lungs. I can say that smoking is really harmfull for us and it has no sense for us if we smoke we will get nothing for the smokes that we breath when we smoke you can only get a disease from it. The major disease that we can get is Lung Cancer that may cost our life.

    Another problem in pollution is water pollution, that we most see in the floods. We can get it from the floods because of the waste and the dirt from the animals. Most of all we can get disease from floods that is Lestospirosis that cost many lives of people. We can also prevent it by washing our body if we walked from the flood but if not we can go to the nearest doctor as possible. Most we it also is in the rivers like in Pasig River when we saw the pasig river we see too many waste that the people had thrown on it. We see also their dirt they just take it to the pasig river and more on many kids are jumping on the river as they swim but they will get disease on it. Even on Manila Bay many people are going there most in summer because they say its fun and its free. But the reality on it it is polluted by the wastes there and the government always said to them do not swim on the Manila Bay because it is polluted but the people wont go on it.

   

        We aren't know when will pollution will be stop but how can we say that the people can change on it as they not throw garbages in the rivers and people not smoke anymore. We can prevent it as they realize whats is right to do. But if they cant stop it our country cant stop the pollution problem.

Global Happenings: Super Typhoon Yolanda

             

          In our country many global issues are happened time by time but most of it is the devastation of Super Typhoon Yolanda. It says that Super Typhoon Yolanda is one of the strongest Typhoon who entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility and it almost destroyed our country because of the strong winds and big rain falls that the typhoon bring. It has an internation name that is Haiyan and brings 315 K/H wind. It destroyed many places in the Philippines but most of it is Samar and Leyte that almost all of the houses there are completely destroyed. We see also trees have been fallen, even the electricity posts, cars have taken out by the flood and the flood hit the second floor of the houses. Many places here have declared as signal no. 4 which is the strongest typhoon alert ever. All of the classes have suspended in the affected areas for atleast 1 week or even a month. Electricities also hard to be function again because of the post that are fallen down. Underpass are also affected to the vehicles and the people as the flood are taken up there. Even flights in the airport and the ships in the Pier are cancelled for a long days. The typhoon also affected the work of the employees after the city hall had been also destroyed by the typhoon. Even farmers and fishermen are affected by the typhoon because of the typhoon destroyed their plants and living. It took almost 2.86 billion of damaged that the typhoon destroyed. It also cost 6340 of our lives and almost 1061 people are missing.

            So many family have their relatives gone as they died from the typhoon and also many families have lost their home. Students also miss their classes as the classroom was also destroyed by the typhoon. But after the devastration of the typhoon many Celebrities, Companies, Government Officials donated funds, foods and any things that the people need in their place. Its very happy to see that almost 50 countries are donated funds to us for such us a thousand o a million dollars that is really really helpfull for us. Our generousity is helpfull as we help those people who are needing. Sad to know that they celebrated Christmas without a home and incomplete family, but they are happy because they reach a help from many people, companies and countries. As for now they are already moved on in a tragic calamity and they will be alert whether a next climate is coming.

            There's a slogan that the ABS CBN network made from the victims of Typhoon Yolanda that is Tulong na, Tabang na, Tayo na which is printed in a tshirt and they sell it and many people bought it and the fund that they took is donated from the Yolanda victims it is happy that we are reuniting to help other people and we will continue this type of generousity.

Social Problems: Hazing

             Again one of the social problems that the our country encountered is Hazing. Hazing comes from the fraterneties when a people wants to join a fraternety he will undergoing in iniciation rights or its called Hazing. In there people who wants to join will suffer harrastment, abuse and humiliation if they survive they are official to be join the fraternity. We almost see fraterneties in school most in colleges.

        One of the Philippines social problem is Hazing because not all people survived in the iniciation rights most of them died because of brutal beatdown given by the frat they want to join. One of the latest Hazing victims is Guillo Servando from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. He wants to join the Tau Gamma Fraternity but he suffered a brutal beatdown on the hands of the menbers of the group so he can not take it anymore and he died. Hazing needs to be stop because it cost a life of a people even they wants to join a frat but do not undergo iniciation because if you really trust a people you will not make him suffer as you make the iniciation rights.

     
        For me i dont know why people want to join a fraternity and why they need to do a iniciation rights. I can say that i am not happy on the people who suffers from iniciation even they are chose to join a frat, i can say that we will get nothing if we join a fraternity. So for my self i promise to avoid this and i will focus only on a good friends and my study because thats my goal to graduate and to have a decent job. But not to suffer in the hands of the fraternity.

Social Issues: The Corruption in the Philippines (PDAF SCAM)

          Many social issues are happened in the Philippines now but the most recently talk about is the Corruption in the Philippine Government. The latest of it is the Priority Development Assistance Fund scam or The PDAF Scam. The mastermind of the PDAF Scam is the businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles. In this case almost 10 Billion Pesos was scamed by this case. We know that Napoles is only a high school graduate but she made a way on how to scam the money. Like the fake Non Governamental Organizations has planed a project to give the fund to the farmers who is harvesting food for us but they will only scam the fund.

         Some government officials was belonged in the PDAF Scam like Sen. Bong Revilla, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada and former senate president Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile and also his secretary Sec. Gigi Reyes who are all now in jail. Even other Congressmens are belonged there, for the fact we voted them to serve the country whats right not to be a corrupt official. Many people also reacted about this PDAF Scam and even they made a Million People March in Edsa just to abolish the PDAF. Also Cardinal Tagle described the scandal as part of an "intricate web of corruption", and said that it is right that the issue be investigated. He added that those involved in the scam have "lost touch with the poor" and should visit a community of informal settlers to understand the issues poor Filipinos face on a daily basis. "We have heard many other big scandals in the past but these were buried and forgotten when a new issue came up",



           The money from this fund was pay by our parents as they pay their taxes and i cant be accepted this happening if the fund will not go for good only to be scamed. I can say that the government officials are voted to do what is good for the country but if they only corrupt they are not deserving in their position.

Education: On how i experience it

   

   
    So i start studying when i was nursery and i am knowing the alphabet, the numbers and some on what the teachers taught in their children. It was develop when i was on elementary when the teachers taught about good moral, and academic subjects. I experience many things in my elementary days by meeting new friends and to be silly with them. I also expierience the hard tests like quiz, seatworks, assignments, periodical tests and projects. But all of that i survived because i study hard. Even though i gain a top in our class when i was on grade 4 i rank top 5 and my highest grade is math.

    So my personality is maturing when i step in highschool because i am studying in a high school my sillyness in elementary is change with a maturity. Still i met new friends when i was on high school and until now they are still with me and that is Cedric and Rommel. In high school i experience many contests like Chorale Competition, Pabula, Legend Making, Speech Choir and Dance Competition. I also expierience cheering my section when the intramurals is undergoing even all of my section in my high school days rank 1st runner up it is still enjoying. So even in academics i perform so good because i gain top in math when i was on 2nd year up to 4th year, and on 3rd year i ranked top 12 in our class overall. Even in our retreat i express my feelings there as i share something on what i have done wrong and i completely give my 3 days on reflecting to God. I experience lot more in high school like our Foundation Week, JS Prom and most of all the Graduation Day that i fullfil my dreams on finishing high school.

    Now as i am a college student i am completely know what i am doing and what i am performing. I takes a so much time on thinking on what course i take up for college because i  have many choices on what course should i take on college when i was in elementary i thought i will take Engineering on Civil or Mechanical it remains unanswered until when i was 4th year high school i decided thoroughlly about it and i chose Civil Engineering. But my friend ask me to take IT as my course and once again my mind changed on what should i take. I realized that i am not good in drawing so i drop the Civil Engineering, and then my sister told me to take Cruise Line as my course and finally i chose Cruise Line as my course. So Cruise Line is my choice and i want to work in a cruise ship so i can earn big fortune and thats for me and my future family.

Education: The importance of acquiring it, Our Career Goals and Proffesional Aims

     That quote is based from Albert Einstein and i can say that he is right because not only we learn about facts or something about education but we open our mind to explore it as we think how to answer questions anytime when the proffessor asks and how do we defend our answer if it its right. Our thinking skills is the one we will bring when we get for a job we use our learnings to have a successfull interview and get hired in a beautiful company. On how we run our job as you can suggest to them for the betterment of the company that we will all get based on our learnings on how we think critically and perform successfully. So thats the importance of acquiring education not only for a better job but to be a intelligent person.

               
    My first goal is to finish college and my second goal is to have a decent job.  I chose it because i want to have a work like in Hotel Services and i really want to work in a cruise ship. I want to earn some money on my own hardworking and i want to support my parents when they grow old, especially this job is for my future and my future family.

   





    Education is my way to achieve in my life as my parents praised me on what i have and what i will accomplised in my future. Because i want to work in a decent company in the future so i will study hard to gain what i want in my future. As i continued my studying ways in the Lyceum of the Philippines University with my course Cruise Line Operations for Hotel Services this will be my key to success as i study hard and to finish this course with a good grade. As i finish it someday i will be successfull man as i work in a Cruise Ship and to make my parents so proud of me on what i will accomplised.
